Zeta Psi Fraternity has partnered with nationally recognized fintech software company, OmegaFi, to streamline operations and make it easier for its collegiate chapters to manage their finances. The partnership leverages OmegaFi’s LegFi billing and dues payment solution to standardize Zeta Psi’s accounting and invoicing practices; streamline education and training for its volunteers and officers; and offers chapter alumni, volunteers, financial advisors, and staff critical financial oversight to ensure consistent operations across the organization.
“Zeta Psi is a premier fraternity with a staff we have really enjoyed working with,” said OmegaFi CEO Fred Maglione. “We’re excited to partner with them and to begin relieving some of the administrative burdens carried by today’s collegiate chapter officer so Zeta Psi and it’s chapters can focus on inspiring and supporting exemplary men.”
OmegaFi Director of Partner Development J.B. Goll added, “We are especially excited to partner with Zeta Psi right now as we are launching our new Treasury program which will provide chapters with an alternative to the hassle of traditional banking.”
Everyday we are hearing from chapter leaders who cannot gain access to their funds with their banking partner. From issues updating the signature card to opening new accounts to service fees and limits on debit cards, banking for chapters has become a pain point. Treasury on LegFi eliminates these issues. Chapters set up Treasury Accounts through the LegFi platform and chapter leaders never have to visit a brick-and-mortar bank. Treasury Accounts are FDIC insured and have routing and account numbers. The account is set up in the Chapter’s name via their EIN number.
Zeta Psi Executive Director Tyler Boisvert shared, Zeta Psi staff believes that every chapter, both active and housing corporations, should be utilizing a professional service for budgeting, invoicing and collecting fees during the academic calendar. OmegaFi and LegFi offer the ability to create accounts for any chapter with an EIN, and we’re looking forward to working with every chapter to get them up to this standard. We also love that they offer the ability to help with the reinstatement process through the IRS”
