February 2025 Release Notes

New features and improvements have arrived for LegFi and OmegaOne! These updates focus on making invoicing, transaction management, and mobile functionality more seamless than ever. Let’s dive in: 

LEGFI ENHANCEMENTS INVOICING JUST GOT BETTER

Managing invoices and payments is now even more efficient with these enhancements: 

• Emails now populate automatically when invoices are sent from an HQ account to chapter LegFi accounts. 

• Copies of invoices and payment receipts can be downloaded and shared externally. 

• Member and chapter details have been added to key displays for better tracking. 

• HQ billed transactions to chapters and members now appear in the HQ aging report, with clear indicators for the payor and payor type. 

• Balance displays now include amounts billed directly to members and chapters for improved financial transparency. 

LATE FEES THAT MAKE SENSE 

Late fee tracking has been streamlined. Instead of simply disappearing, removed late fees now generate an automatic credit transaction. This ensures a clear and accurate record in the account history.

LEGFI USERS GET SMARTER TRANSACTION MANAGEMENT

We've revamped the way member and organization transactions are handled: 

• Late fees now create a new charge instead of increasing the original invoice. 

• Prepayment discounts apply as a credit rather than reducing the original invoice amount. 

• Record a Credit is now a dedicated option, making it easier to distinguish from recording payments. 

For Admins: Fewer menu options simplify balance adjustments, with Record a Credit now a standalone menu item. 

For Members: Transaction history has improved accuracy with separate line items for credits and prepayment discounts. 

OMEGAONE MOBILE APP UPDATES MORE AUTOMATION, MORE PRIVACY  

The OmegaOne mobile app just got a little smarter: 

Classmates Cleanup: Members marked as ‘Alumni’ will now be automatically removed from the Classmates feature, no manual updates needed. 

Birthday Privacy: We get it- sharing your birthday is fun, but sharing your age? Not so much. Now, only the day and month of your birthday will be visible to others, keeping your age private.

Increased Login Security: LegFi and ICS will be implementing Multi-Factor Authentication to continue keeping your organization’s information secure.  

Compass is integrating with LegFi as a more seamless experience for our partners.
